Electronic
Services Technologies provides a low cost, turnkey
system for Medical Insurance Claims & Encounter
processing.
This system contains three
distinct components:
1. The Remote Site Delivery
System
2. The Claims Intake System
3. The Outbound Claims Transmitter
and Archival System
The Remote Site Delivery System
was designed for use by Medical Offices, Clinics,
and Home Healthcare Agencies. Claims, Encounters,
and Referrals are generated by the operator
responding to a series of preprogrammed questions.
This data is automatically archived and batched
for unattended transmission to the appropriate
Claims Intake System.
The Claims Intake System was
designed for Parent Organizations that need
a direct data communications link with it's
satellites and contracted providers. The Claims
Intake System checks the incoming billed procedures
for correct pricing and will automatically adjust
this pricing to the Parent Organizations payment
schedule. The Claims Intake System also has
the ability to create statistical reports from
this data. These reports can then be transmitted
throughout the Organization Via internal e-mail.
The Claims Intake System will also translate
this data for printout onto the HFCA 1500 claim
form.
The Outbound Claims Transmitter
and Archival System can receive the raw batched
data from the Claims Intake System, sort the
claims and encounters per Lines of Business,
and transmit theses claims to the designated
carriers. Using the ANSI
837-X12A1 format, or your proprietary
format. The Outbound Claims Transmitter and
Archival System will generate a Unique Patient
Number for each Claim, Encounter, or Referral.
After Transmission, this data is archived and
can be retrieved using the Unique Patient Number.
This system also provides automatic
off-site backup in as much as each Claim or
Encounter is archived at both the Remote Site
and the Outbound Transmitter levels.
Please note:
All three components are Y2K compliant. The
total system (all three comments) can be installed
and in operation in two weeks. Also note, that
Claims can be routed through Clearinghouses.
